    DIY Springs install.

Hey guys, before you tell me off yes i have tried searching both here and google. But google was very vague so was hoping i can get more personalised advice

Anyway i purchased a pair of springs from a fellow member and was hoping someone could give me a brief DIY guide, It's for a Euro. Not really keen on paying someone $100

Anyway thanks, and i'm sure other noobs will find this useful too

Ps if someone if willing to help me out in melb i will pay you $50 haha.

Your shocks wont blow straight away. Actually, I have had none of my cars that have been lowered with springs only blow a shock. I fitted Tein S-Techs to my current Civic when it had about 200kms on it, it now has 39000kms on it and drives like the day I installed them!

My old EK hatch had King Superlows fitted at around 90000kms/4years ago and is still going strong!

Im not saying it doesn't happen, I just find it quite rare.

If you are doing this on a EURO....do NOT attempt by yourself. It is NOT for first time DIY guys. Its hard and there is multi-link suspension at the rear that is hard to access and place.

Pay a mechanic $150 or so to do it , or pay a mate in beer.

Pm "pornstar" for a heads up of installers in your area
