    Obx Lsd

guys, i've been searching for it on search engine on ozhonda...

i couldnt find any obx lsd thread..

so just a quick question.. what you guys think of the LSD? worth it?
i've been reading from the US forums, that we need to change the washers and do some machining to fit it on the gear box.

problem is its only OBX that makes LSD for my Tranny f22b1 (accord 94-97)

    Cheers

yeah if you can afford it and need the extra handling the OBX LSD is worth it.
Just rem though that the LSD is about $500 AUD and then another $900-100 to install.

I was looking into it a while ago

$500 is too cheap for a new helical LSD though... has anyone used the OBX LSD and have they had any problems with it?

There are now numerous threads covering this topic.

Joe has run an OBX LSD in the Hi-Comp Civic for over 12 months, done well over 150 drag races with burnouts before each pass, run 1.6 and 1.7 60ft times on a regular basis and never had a problem with it.

If you sold a package including shims and bearings i'll be all over it. I've been meaning to get one for a while now but the thought of sourcing a whole bunch of tranny parts turns me off cracking it open.

i ran one. great stuff. locks up hard. night and day compared to OEM LSDs (single spinners IMO) just get it shimmed up correctly and inspected by a diff guy before u install.

    i got my 2nd hand off hond-tech. 300audshiped with 1000miles on it.
