    Buying a civic gli

    Hey guys,

Just went to inspect a civic gli today, the price is reasonable but I just have one little problem. the boot looks a bit suss, looks like it has been rear ended before and repaired. Here are some pics

Could you guys please confirm if the filler looking thing is normal under the carpet of the boot. To confirm is on the end of the floor to the rear of boot all along.

Don't think thats normal, should be the same colour as the car at least shouldn't it?

Did you ask about it though? Water might've been leaking inside the boot and they may have just filled it up to stop the leaking? (Thats just a though)

mate at the end of the day getting a car that old with out it having an accident is very lucky, just use common sense. if everything lines up well and drives well, then it usually is well. other than that you have done a revs check. all is good i asume? ask the owner some questions and see how you go from there.
