I reckon the ARC knob is pretty nice too, it's just a burnt titanium ball.. rainbowy ;D
feels better changed mine and shift boot stock eg plastics horrible

Heavier knobs allow smoother shifts. Lighter knobs are more notchy. The style / shape all balls down to personal preference. Depends how you hold the knob. Also we drive Honda's we like to rice our cars up :P
