    Heavier knobs allow smoother shifts.
    Lighter knobs are more notchy.

    The style / shape all balls down to personal preference. Depends how you hold the knob.

    Also we drive Honda's we like to rice our cars up :P

    The stock knob sits too high for my liking, so i choose another which sits slightly lower and which looks better as well.
