Street Front Wheel Drive is run on a DYO (dial your own) system and is designed for full-bodied, street type cars using front wheel drive only. Radial treaded tyres only. The Street FWD Class is open to all FWD vehicles regardless of body shape using a 3/4-cylinder or 5-cylinder engine or 6-cylinder OHC (over head cam) engine. Maximum of 2 power adders allowed.
Thats not the full guidelines though, there are more but they are updating the rules atm this is just the overview
Does all this really matter? Appreciate the achievement for what it is and if you can do better, prove it. Its as simple as that. Its about time the Honda community embraced drag racing properly as a whole and didn't alienate themselves by only looking at themselves as being the be all to end all. Yes Hondas are an excellent platform that has been proven countless times but here in Oz its nowhere near as dominant as, say, in the US.
