I can only conclude then, that the carpoint author was trying to use his article to make NSX prices go down so he could buy one for himself

why is that? The manuals dont come with power steering? Or is the power steering better in the auto?

Also, where do u get the parts to do the conversion?
not like you can just rock up to your local honda wrecker and ask for it?
Clutch, pressure plate, gearlinkage, gearbox, alot more that i cant remember and dont know as well !

I'm curious about that too. How much it cost to do an auto->manual conversion cost in this country?

Very good condition late(ish) model NSXs still fetch up to $90,000 AUD. I'd be very wary about the condition of any NSX priced at 45K.

No way an NSX would be 4 sale @ $45k. Unless its a fixer-upperers dream...

its true that the nsx's are going for around that price now, I even read in a speed mag (or something) the article of a auto nsx vs the auto supra, that 45 K is an average starting price for an auto 91 nsx.
Later models are obviously more expensive, but dont forget, the 45k price tag is for a 13-14 yr old automotic car.
