    s2000, RIP Prelude Vtir
i have them on the rear and I think they are fine. more quiet compared to the s02 and more forgiving esp when going around corners at high speeds.

I've heard the S-02 have *finally* been discontinued. Any truth to this?

I was under the impression that they stopped making the S-02's years back. And if you get them now fresh off the shelf they've probably gone off.

Running Toyo T-IR ... a set of 4 cost me $760 Pretty grippy in the dry but in the wet i won't recommend any fast corners or stunts

Thats the downside to T1-R's. In the dry they are a fantastic tyre, in the wet, I will never touch them again...

great performance tyre, but not exactly durable...

also not particularly progressive (in terms of finding the limit)

i use michelin PP2. great compromise between performance and durability but... not exactly cheap...
