    **FUNNY STORY*** need HELP!!!!!

    hey ozhonda,

    well i start of by telling you a funny story that went wrong. My friend was from the back seat and was in the process of jumping to the front seat. So like every drive i push on the brakes. That were we all should of laughed it off and drove off, but his FAT HEAD crack my windscreen.

    LOL >.<

    And my question how much is it for a 1997 GLI windscreen 2dr.

    whereabouts r u?

    usually u can call up glass companies...i know O'Brien supplies windscreen glass for about $200-300 (not sure of price)...

    sorry but that is really funny, O'brien is prob the best bet, but any glass company should do them but you prob want to go for someone reputable.

    Yellow pages does wonders. Call around and find your value for money.

    where about are you from?? if you type into google your subhurbs and windscreens you will get heaps of places come up.. i did it for my old gli and was quoted 400 by obrien and then 220 by somebody else.. so it pays to look around...

    ok im from syd too.. try honbits.. or hontoys.. also try japenese auto spares.. they all have their numbers on the net.. or i have them if u need em.. thats if u want to get one from a wrecker..

    otherwise there is a place in castle hill that comes to you and they were 220 for mine.. there is also one in fairfeild.. not the same company but they also come to you and similar price.. i can get you their numbers if u need em..

    but like i said b4 if you type in ur suburb and windsreens into google.. you'll get heaps of options and then you can call around and get the bext price for you..

    i dont think getting a second hand windscreen is very good, it would be better to get a new one, with windscreens i heard ur not ment to touch the edges with barehands or dirty gloves when installing as that makes it a weak point in a crash or sumthing.
