    breeze guess wats inside?

    My b16a not feeling right.

Well i realise that my vtec doesn't goes as hard as the ek4 one does. Like you can clearly rear the cross over, and the revs shoot up but it doesn't jus pull as i thought it would. And i realise that it has been running too rich on fuel (btw i hav stock injectors) and im only getting only 400km per full tank. Presumed it was an ecu problem and my code is 37820- P06- A30 741-513956 and from what i can see that the code "p06" is from the civic dx? could that be cause of all these problems?

Is it an engine swap because that ECU is not a B16 ECU.

    who did the swap?
"since we're both asian.. I'll look after you and chuck in King Springs with the wheels and tyres for $1050"

sounds like you are using all swapped engine parts , but your existing wiring loom and ECU. You need a B16a2 ECU from a EG6 or a conversion harness + EK4 ecu

Not exactly - he can have his current ecu socketed with a stock B16 program.

I could help you out if you need, just PM me.

i drove a red eg other day it had a b16a in it and it went like shit. we got a single vtec ek and that went heaps better. and i think he had the wrong ECU in it so yeh it might be that..

yeh your using the wrong ecu, you have a choice of getting your ecu socket with a b16a base map, or get a obd1 p30 ecu, or p2t ecu from EK4 which will requires a conversion harness to fit in your car

why dont you go back to akmotorworks and ask him?
he should be able to help you out since he did the conversion..

Yup, thats correct Troy. The ecu we put in your car as we discussed was a stock b16a map on a socketed tuneable ecu with VTEC/IAB and other support

You can always give us a call and we can take a look at it for ya mate

Interesting... if you need the right ECu send me a PM...

Also depends what gearbox was included as well.. If you got the S80 out of the integra vti-r, then you got jipped. Make sure its a b16a gearbox S4C as they have better gearing than the b18c's vtir. Longer gearing would make the car feel slow as well...

Take a pic of the engine bay so we can point out whats wrong and what they have changed.
