What would be the problem with running vtec killer cams as a every day driver?? I just want to give my car more grunt... hehehe!! I love the vtec, and thought the vtec killers would be awesome! I know that getting power from a N/A is really expensive. I guess might stick to the basics I/H/E, ECU. There are so many other topics out there on performance!! Its so hard making a choice!!

You wont have vtec if you install killers man.
Do you know how vtec works?in regards to the cam lobes?

Learn how vtec works and why, then you will understand the difference with vtec killers. They dont run the hi and low cam lobes,in other words disabling vtec.
You basically end up with a twin cam honda 4 cylinder with big racing camshafts and no vtec.
I'm too lazy to teach you the theories on big cams etc.lol

Hey, I understand how vtec works. How it engages the hi cam lobes at a higher RPM, why would vtec killers be bad for every day driving? I guess the question is would they be worth it in the end of the day, money to performance? Or would it be better getting a turbo??

    Cheers!!

Because using big cams like the vtec killers make a small 1.8litre 4 cylinder gutless under say 5-6000 rpm.
They are designed for racing where the revs stay high not stop start in traffic etc.

because daily driving, you would most likely be in a low rpm range

and running big cam lobes in low rpm range would really suck, big time.

    Why do we even bother

well, if you decide to go the turbo route, that exhaust will become redundant.
