    Contact the seller first regarding this. Ask for a replacement unit which IS region free. If he doesn't want to do so, then you escalate it to paypal/ebay and get your money back (minus some fees)

    lol i bought ALL my car audio stuff from ebay.. spent over a grand.. and happy with every peice of it.. cause i saved over a grand too.

    that's how i feel- or used to feel back then. one ebay seller understood my concerns and he was cool with meeting up in person and then letting me pay a deposit upfront, and the rest upon pickup of the goods from his house. a year later, whenever i need parts i go to this guy cos i trust him.
