    Injectors & Different OBD Versions

    Hey guys,

before i go buy some injectors i just wanted to confirm this issue.

most Rc and Precsion etc injectors will straight fit obd1 cars.

but for OBD2 cars especially for RC & Precission injectors will i need injector clips and remove my current clips??

say if i got these http://www.nipponpower.com/product.phtml?p=1062

can i then jsut use the new injectors and use the PnP harness and all go?

    cheers

you cut the obd2 wires and just wire the obd1 clips in and plug them in. nothing to it.

The link you got seems to be an easy way if you wanna use them, don't seem to be anything wrong with it

Injectors also differed electrically across OBD versions.

Early versions used a low value resistance and required a resistor box.

Later injectors are what's called "saturated" and do not required the resistor box.

Not sure how this applies here, just thought I'd raise the point.
