    Black crap from my clutch pedal.

    hey all.

    I found black sstuff coming out of my clutch pedal, it looks like grease.
    is this normal?
    could this be the reason for the squeeking when i press the clutch?
    looksieesss its lol.



    From inside the car btw.

    better replace it soon.

    while u're replacing the master cylinder, replace the slave cylinder as well. they're not expensive.

    if u don't replace it, you will running out of clutch fluid and your clutch will be gone and no more gear shifting. obviously you don't want to do that LOL

    creaking sound can be because of that, or also it might need some greasing as well

    change master cylinder,its leaking.
    if u dont change the slave cylinder aswell,u run the risk of it dying shortly after you change the master cylinder,as the increased pressure from the new,non leaking master can blow the seal on the slave.

    the creaking is probably more to do with the clutch fork/bearings

    it will only cost you about 150 for the clutch master cylinder and probably just a lil bit more for slave.

    cost me ~$80 to buy the clutch master cylinder from honda.. about 30 minutes of my time to install it
    small price to pay for an item thats going to last you the period that you're going to own the car
