she paid $20k... but it was absolutely immaculate like it was straight from the showroom, pearl white looks good... will try get some photos of it this week before she trashes it lol
this is her old 91 coupe that she traded up from...
^^^Tell me about it, theres a Legend on ebay at the moment, a real rare one.. I'd love to have it as a DD. The KA5's engine bay looks like a nightmare to work on though.
the KA7 & KA8s are nice... but getting parts is an absolute bitch, Honda Aus dont stock them anymore, and Honda Japan dont produce them anymore... a door handle for the coupe cost us $550 and had to come from japan, it was painted silver so it had to be resprayed to white aswell
but they're quite cheap now and can usually pick up decent quality ones
I love the ka7 legends the best, the sedan looks soo nice done up. There are more aftermarket parts available in the US as well (though some engine parts are swappable with the ka9).
The only problem that puts me off is the age of them now and the head gasket overheating problems. Can pick up a ka7 for a couple grand easy in NZ.
Would make a great second car though. Too bad I can't afford a ka9 and a ka7.
