Well my may be a bit cheaper plus the guy that's importing has good record and also a mehanical shop set up in japan where they check every car they import (they make shure it's all good), also car should be grade 4+ which is hard to find with lots of car dealships, there is one in perth for sale and they are asking $29900 for same specs I want and it's prob grade 3 by the way it looks (lots of dents, scraches and dameged interior plastic), i don't care about wait period because I'll be away for next 5 weeks (going to europe) and than probably another 4 weeks away for work so yeah, makes no difference if i get it now or in two months

I have it on about 80% now but will try turning it right up to see how that is then a bit of trial and error is in order for what i can deal with day to day.
interesting. i wonder if Spoon's adjustable.

Putting an engine torque damper will increase more stress to one of the mounts as it focuses on the corner.

If you want to have less engien movement then stiffer engine mounts or inserts will do a better job.

    Stock mounts are terrible

    Agreed

I have actually seen an engine damper that mounts to the firewall and the centre of the valve cover which helps centralise the load.

I've only seen it for DC5R from 5Zigen.

    Haven't seen one for EP3.

But as I said, the aftermarket mounts will do a better job.

what are some reputable brands when it comes to mounts/inserts.

If you get stiffer mounts you dont need the ETD.

I ditched mine as soon as i got stiffer mounts.

i got the ETD as a stop gap till i get stiffer mounts. Just came back from a drive with it on stiffest setting and the whole car was vibrating, even the roof light was cruising along at 60 in 5th. Just turned it back to about 80% or so but will have to mess around with it to see what is best.
