Depends which Innovative mounts you go for.

the Steel replacement ones are around teh $400 odd mark.

Where as the Aluminium CNC'd Billet ones are around teh $500.

Inserts are good, but Some people say they lose their firmness quicker compared to mount replacements.

vibrations for the mounts depends on which stiffness you get, it ranges from 60-90a I think.

I have 75a and its like a massive vibrator.

But I dont get wheel hops as much the car chirps rather than hops on the road to get grip.

Also giving it gas around the corners is alot better, it doesnt jerk as much now.

The mugen ones still give decent movements and probably not good enough for drag racing! But will offer better day to day driving and less vibrations.

Go innovative if you are considering hard launches!

Nepolian, that's the thing i am not sure about, some one said to me once that Mugen mounts are more so OEM replacement as opposed to upgrade. Having said that i use the car as a daily with the odd bit of track work so im thinking Mugen mounts with ETD should be good middle ground, sounds reasonable?

Mugen mounts is pretty much stock mounts with more silicon in it to fill it up.

Alot of people I know who have used it found it to not be as stiff as they wanted.

You are better off for a similar price getting the Innovative Street mounts or Avid racing ones.

As they are a whole new mount replacement design and not just stock filled up with some silicon.

You may as well put some urethane in you stock ones and give that a go. Mugen ones have something like different angles or some sh#t. Im sure it would be better than stock though.

Innovative for my money. Having said that, light track work you may get away with the ETD.

Just give it a go, everyones different!

the only thing is that i don't want a lot of vibrations with the stiffer mounts, i guess one of the innovative mounts more so for the street than the really stiff ones, the 60A or the 75A i guess.

I know been covered before but will all k-series ones fit ep3 or which one do i go for? Is it worth going for 60A or is it only worth going for the 75A if upgrading? I saw a huge thread all about engine mounts for k20 a couple of days ago but can't find it now.

    thanks for the help

took a while actually...mainly coz you have to take off the header to get to the rear mount...maybe 1 hour or so? (i didn't do it though... )
