G-Vtec has some on his black DC2R. Hopefully he sees this thread.
Deano.

i had 17inch Work rims on my DC2R once and took it off after 2 hours. It does somewhat affect the car's performance....
But they do fill up the guards nicely

I love it when someone tries to be differant on this forum/in the honda scene (read: not JDM) and people says its crap and "ruins" the car because they aren't the most expensive light weight parts... come to think of it... when was the last time half of you people actually took your car to a track to use your "uber expsensive light wight" parts.
Get over it... gees.

A month ago. Next one is in 2 weeks. But that's irrelevant. You don't neeedddd light weight parts. Too wide tyres / rims, and too low profile tyre won't make it a better ride - it'll change the way the car handles, most likely for the worse. But hey, if you want to be unique (Some people think they are being awsomely Unique, I saw a stock black R34 with chromes... number plates "Unique" - How so? - LOL) go for it.
The point i'm getting at, is... it's a Type R. Why go throw 17's on it. If you want to put big wheels on a Integra, go get a Vti-R or GSi. I'm not saying Type R's are the shit or anything, it's just that people would kill for one, and use it for their intended built purpose. Just an opinion... *Flame suit on*

stock 15 inch rims are the best for the car, jdm 16's are ok if you want the look but15's are better for performance

I dunno I find lighter 16 inch wheels to be better tbh. But 15's are GREAT! So much more comfortable too

I know you visit the track as i have seen a few of your threads about it, and it wasn't directed at you.
Basiclly my rant was more in general... and not just at wheels or this thread. The fact that if someone was to come on here (Ozhonda) and ask a question (such as this thread) everyone jumps onto the "unless its JDM/track it's shit" bandwagon.
The thread starter asked for pics of what the rims look like on the car, not how it'll perform or ruin the ride. I know when I was looking for rims for my car I had a read about what has worked with other peoples cars, and i'm sure the thread starter can do the same if he is that worried abotu it. Like most of these threads, it just kinda gets annoying when a group of people all say the same thing when all it takes is one or two people to say something.
Basically my rant comes down to there seems to be more and more people that are almost going mod for mod with others and there is no "uniquness" about the scene anymore...

I understand exactly where you are coming from. But it's quite easy to make a car look unique. I know people hate my wing, yet, I love it... so it stays on. But that's beside the point...
It's just that alot of people are new to modifying (i'm a tad of a noob myself). Some people don't know the implications of mods, and what they will do to the car. I dont know if the guy wanted to here about the implications of the larger wheels, or if he just wanted to see pics. But i'm sure this thread would have given him more to think about. I know if I were in his shoes (a few years ago I was) I would have a second think about putting 17's on my DC2. But if he wants to go ahead with it - i'm sure everyone will respect the decision.

Ive had 19'' 'VAULT' Chromes on my car, Terrible Terrible weight to steering spoils the lot, jumping down to from 19 to 17 then to 16's ..16's are the best =]
