Ok so the result is. 10000 wont cover a rebuild with a descent turbo kit, clutch, pistons, etc. though if i can find someone who stocks engine rebuild kits I may be in with a chance. So lil more help guys would be appreciated. cheers

Hey mate check out www.tunertoys.com I got all my stuff from there (rods, pistons, head studs, bearings, cometic head gasket) all for about $1200 including freight. But if you do get it from there make sure you pay a little extra for freight and get them to send it in 2 packages. It'll save you being hit with duty tax (I learnt that the hard way).

But to be honest I think you could do it all for $10,000.

10000 should easy be enough for u too do a rebuild and get a decent turbo kit..i spend less then 10k on mysetup turbo kit was 6k and my rods piston bearings headstuds cost me under 3k.. all from the states..this was like 6months back...it should be cheaper now since the aussie dollars up..and also u would need ecu and tune that be round 1k-2k depending on wat u get..
    i got
afi top mount kit stage 3gt
    cp pistions
    acl race bearings
    pauter rods
    arp head studs
240killer wasp @ wheels tuned by Barefootbonzai and Andy from akmotorsports

IMO just save your 10k and sell the CRX and buy another WRX to add to your collection.

2k into a WRX would probably shit all over a CRX with 10k put into it.

Besides, you already have a worked WRX with 200kw+ at the wheels, i dont see why you need another turbo car as your 'daily'.

    Just my opinion i guess.

Lolwut? 19psi onto an awd car with 200kw at the treads or 10 psi into an fwd with 150 at the treads. You choose thesecond option. What happened, your balls drop off?
