Thread: b18a on b16a

    just outa curiosity, would the b18a head fit onto the b16a, as well as cams, ect.

    im doubting that the cams would but still unsure.

    I'm not sure if the head would fit onto the b16a block. But I always thought the b16a head is more aggressive than the b18.

    yeh just wondering, if it will give me a power gain ill get it put on other wise ill wait around for a b18c head

    The B18A head isn't a VTEC head, while the B16A head is. If you really want a B18 series head, pay the extra for something nice, like a B18C5 head.

    just wondering as im rippin that engine out at the moment, i kinda tought there was slim to none chance but thought id ask anywayz

    Keep the B16b head, it's actually quite close in some ways to B18C7 (Type R) but I think you'll lose power with anything else.

    use the b18 block with the b16 head!

    Much better results.
