I think the tabs on your H9 bulb are sticking out compared to the h11 - it is a 10 second job with pliers to bend them back - just be careful not to damage the bulb itself. Or you could shorten them with tin snips.
Hey thanks yfin thanks for the info, it did work just had to bend the larger fin and presto, they went in. took a bit of an effort especially the left hand side not much room
