Alarm doesnt work!!!!!!

my eg civic's alarm stopped making a sound when I unlock n lock the car... the central locking still works.. but the alarm seems to have stop working... doesn't activate anymore when wen it is engaged...

I dont have that little key to insert into the alarm system...!!! what can I do to fix it..

by the look of it your backup batt has died.. thats what happend to mine water and moist keep getting init didnt have any sound but door still locks.. i just cut the backup unit off and replace it with a normal alarm speaker to fix the problem till i can order in another backup

soo.. let me clarify this,

there is a individual back up battery for the alarm.. which is located??

How much did it cost for a replacement speaker?

the back up batt is where you said " that little key to insert into the alarm system " thats the backup batt... wouldnt know how much it would cost... i just stole it off my crx
