Thumbs up Dc2 ITR LIP fitment.

Hey guys, i just got a itr lip from jdm yard today for a facelift integra. i was just wondering if the top of the lip layed over the whole top of the existing bumper or does it lay over only half of it?

in pictures that i've seen the middle part of the type r lip covers the whole top of the existing bumper, but mine seems to be only covering half of the bumper (not extending all the way in).

hope that made sense. cheers guys.

seems as if you've got the wrong lip.

no it wont go all the way to the top mate... a surefire way to determine what you are doing is to line up where the screwholes are in your bumper now (they should be there). Where the lip stays when you screw it in is where it will sit... but yeh, it will not go up all the way, there will be about an inch of the old bumper showing before you get to the air vent area of the bumper....

with replica lips these days the design slightly varies..
some lips will have the middle section overlap the middle section of the bumper.. and some dont..
as long as it bolts on its ok...

follow your instincts just drill pretty much anywhere you can and make sure its just stable.
