I've got the gruppem great sounding Vtec but theres also alot of high pitch screeching when taking off. P.S does anyone know how to reduce this?
Put some foam tape around the strut-brace were the intake touches, also if u can run a small piece on the inside of the metal o-clamp that holds the carbon fiber piece to the metal plate. Also doesn't hurt to run plenty around the windscreen wiper cowling. Abit of trial and error with this and u will fix your squeaks.
^^Agreed, Place the double sided tape around the top and bottom of cowling. Run a length along the air filter side where it sits on the cowing and get stiffer engine mounts or inserts to further reduce movement.
BTW you dont have to remove the double sided tape on the open side. Just acts as a buffer
