    yes, but in the long run its better for your car, which means down the track it will still be performing at a higher level and as such using less fuel

    Mine usually stay about 10-12L/100kms with normal unleaded, but when I use V-Shell Power its around 12-13.5L/100kms... but can feel a bit better car response though...

    u get worse consumption out of premium??? i have no idea how that works lol. maybe cuz of the better response u tend to accelerate harder? no clue

    People don't have to 'thrash' their cars to get bad fuel economy.

    I average around 9-10L/100km and I suppose that's pretty bad, but I don't thrash my car at all.

    The main reason why mine's so high is because it's all city driving, a lot of starting and stopping. Then you gotta include the traffic jams and etc...

    ya city driving is the scourge of fuel economy if u do all highway driving ur laughing, but i guess in teh country the fuel is more dear so it balances maybe

    get a hybrid then you all will get 3-4/l100kms in city traffic, and jams!

    depends which hybrid it is, pruis would be good cuz it only uses electric to accelerate, downside would be enough stop start and u might not be charging enough battery meaning ull hav eto switch to full motor. if u go civic ude get prob 4-5 in city as it uses combo of both engines to accelerate, keeps the revs down which saves the fuel
