Some of us did drool over an evo but changed to an ep3 at the end.

Still would consider an evo for a family car...hahaha

    Get Avid mounts
They are abit better design as they provide their own bracket for one of the side which is hold up by 3 bolts vs 1 bolt on innovative mounts.

I'll start, I have bought and fitted a set of AVID engine mounts and boy is it harder. The car has more vibrations than a MACK truck.....LOL.....seriously! but its worth it.....just!

    thanks mate

Just a question though. Reason for me buying the innovative mounts is because they have the 60a which it is labelled Street, so im assuming that the vibration wont b as rough as say the 75a. I will b tracking my car but i use it daily and i dont know if i can handle the vibration, UNLESS, with the stiff mounts in time they settle in and dont vibrate as much thats probably when i go for the stiffer

Yonas informs me that the avids are rated at 62A. Now when I fitted the 75 on the DC5R it was much the MACK truck as well. Realistically, 60-75 pffft! there would'nt be that much difference.

By looking at it, the avids seem to restrict more movement through desogn rather than hardness. But I havent done enough kms to see. It'll get a good testing on next weeks cruise

Yeah, been keen to put faces to names

Steve, be under no illusion that any decent after market mounts will be firmer and vibrate more than the stock ones. Especially if you see how tiny they are when compared.

Except for when you get the mugen ones, which I have been told that they dont do alot? No first hand experience tho!

Nepolian is right, I spoke to a few ppl who have tried the mugen mounts and they said it's more OEM replacement than an upgrade(stiffer mounts) so it depends on what your after.

I was going to try innovative mounts but am thinking of selling my car now so have put all car part spending on hold.

Anyone in W.A interested in an 05 silver ep3?
