    pointless on a stock ecu....

    and a stock b18a

his is different its vtec so u can get alot of aftermarket aids for tuning. ie. vafcs etc.

but mine does that sometimes its a little jerky first off try taking the throttle body off and cleaning it... because theres a sender on the throttle body that can get clogged up and let this happen.. try that first and the other obvious things maybe a new fuel filter aswell...

what happens is the pcv from the valve cover obviously lets the oil vapour go straight into the intake manifold then burnt up by the engine... because of this it clogs shit up and thats what happens... happens aswell sometimes when u get engine hunting...

yah i had engine hunting on my both my old engine and again with the new one because of shit in the tb and the big plastic screw thing being loose.

Naw this is definately a tune issue, apparently it's a issue with an old software version on the S200 ecu. But anyway i'll get it all sorted out pretty soon, just wondering on what kinda cams to look at, i would go some stock ITR but i like the idea of gettin something a little more aggressive.

can u get ur stock ones reground???

that way u can get a custom lobe

depends what u want.. i think obviously u wont high lift and long duration on the non vtec...

without looking at them in detail maybe check what skunk2 do or something

those s200 can u just do a software upgrade??? i thought u were running factory ecu... what other goodies does ur teg have

I have a aus spoon ecu, not 100% sure but a little richer, higher rev limited and slightly diff timing. But that's on my b18c not stock b18a. Especially non- vtec I wouldn't think jt did much.

those spoon ecu are only for vtec engines yeah? i dun think they'd build anything for...nonvtec...

but i'd like to see if there is anything for b18a...to lift the rev limiter..i need a bit more rev on each gear for winton....everytime i come to a corner i hit the limit..and when i change to higher gears it bogs down...i know i could get better gear ratio to fix it..but...not worth spending on it now for this engine..maybe when i get another eng...

hehe, yeah i don't want reground cams, i hear that it's not a good way to go, best off with new after market cams. I been looking at some Toda Racing B18C Spec B camshafts.

lol on my engine i have ported head, adjustable cam gears, lightened flywheel, complete exhaust with 4 - 2 - 1 stainless headers with k&n filter. And that's about it. So to complete it pretty much cams and tune. :P

all they do is change or rev limit..i dun think they would be able to do anything else...spoon never made anything for non vtec..so it'll be some backyard stuff like...making a chip themselves then put in a stock ecu....
