    Painting questions

so i painted the housing in my headlights the other day and its given me then confidence to finally paint my lips/skirts/grill.

ive been researching and theres a couple questions.

    1. would i be better off to buy a spray gun to use with my compressor over cans?

    2. what type of paint would be best (on plastic) and where from (paint place/autobarn etc)

    3. ive read 600, 1000 and 2000 grit sand paper is best!?

    thanks

1, ur gonna get a better result from a spray gun thatn any pressure pack spray can..
2, go to ur local auto paint shop rather thatn auto barn etc to talk about paint and primers and ul also be bale to get a spray gun there, or repco etc would sell something to do the job of ur skirts etc..
3, rubbing down with something between 600-1200 or a scotch brite pad would do the job of getting them ready for paint, but visit ur paint shop and talk to someone u can ask about the product ur using and how to use it..
