    like a turbo bro.

    Lately,
    ive been hearing a whistling sound when my car is in motion and i have the foot down.
    but yeah its whistling, like a turbo bro. No, not really.


    im almost due for a major service.

    yeha i do, ive had it for awhile though.
    first time hearing it.
    does it mean my filter is loose? or the filter is f!ked.
    or air leaking somewhere lol.

    is it cold air intake ? if yes then possibly that.

    do you have aftermarket extractors/headers? if they are loose it can cause leakage/whistling also.

    is more of a whistle or whine like turbo spool. good be a loose belt as well.. check ya belts.

    It sounds like it could be your sound system, I believe if wires cross etc behind the head unit this can cause a whistling sound.

    the whistling sound could be from your intake as mentioned.
    here is a quick diagram of what causes mine to whistle
    note my arrows are air flow.

    I run a Spoon filter on my box, with the lid off and due to the plastic foam material it doesn't muffle the sound like the OEM paper style filter and I get a similar sound with part and full throttle. I've heard this is a trait of some of our plenums/throttle bodies.

    If it's only changed sound recently I'd be checking for breaks or tears in the your filter or intake pipe.

    Mugen ones whistle, thats just the design.

    Mine used to be quiet - then started randomly whistleing..
