    will these fit?

i put a deposit on a set of work xd9's yesterday

    18 x 8.0. +45

car is lowered with about 1 finger gap.

now my questions is... will i encounter any troubles with scrubbing with +45 offset?

    mate,

the wheel offset and width is suitable.

    what are you lowered on?
if you are currently running 16"/17" stockies with 1 finger gap then putting on 18" will definitely scrub and more.

best method if you have adjustable height is to raise car then drop it back down ontop of the wheels.

just my opinion as you havent told us any details.

hmmm.... whats the estimate distance from the edge of the rim to the tyre surface?
do your tyres look like rubber bands?

if it's like about +/-100mm (my estimation) it should be about profile 40.

If you are running 18x8.5 now, then 18x8 would fit.
    Offset anythign between +42-55.

What tyre size are you running?

most likely if your running them on the front, you will prob need to roll/cut your guards at the front

    the rear should be fine

Ive been on +45 for 3 years. I have 18x7 though. No issues.

I dont personally understand the need for 8 inch wide tyres. It adds nothing to performance, in fact makes the car slower and heavier. The car doesn't need 8 inch for handling purposes either.
