    Smile Low fuel indication

    Hi guys,
I Just want to do a little survey here.
My car is 04 euro lux auto stock. Everytime after refilling (fuel machie auto cut off i donot force more fuel in) I set milage to 0 and on everage the orange light (indicating low fuel) turns on at about 510 kms and if I spend more time on high way the result is better at around 550 - 560 kms. Just wodnering other Euros have similar settings for low fuel indication? Also can I run for another 80-100 km with the light on?
Thanks for all participatons and discussions. cheers!

i have no idea what you just said in the beginning of your sentence but assuming.
your saying in comparison to yourself, driving city/highway you result with better fuel consumption on highway than start/stop, this is true because start/stop traffic causes you to use lower gears and rev the car more.

Whereas highway driving will consist of the use of higher gears, less high revving and more consistant travelling, hence why you get better fuel consumption

I think there is thread about this regarding Euro Fuel Mileage...

Anyways, i get roughly 550 km's on a full tank and thats a combination of highway and city (traffic, bumper to bumper) before my Low Fuel Light comes on.

By that time when i fill up again, it fills about 50-55L on pump meter. If i'm correct the Euro tank holds 65L, which leaves 10L floating around your car. With 10L i'm sure you can do an extra 100 km highway, granny driving.

But why would you risk it? Just fill up when its near low, saves you having to worry.
