doubt you can snap them. unless your have arms like a cyclists legs? i have a cheap ebay one and its great! bit stiff to start off with as the grease settles and it takes no time to get used to. shifts are as quick as it takes to stomp the clutch. no crunch.

Im running a C's shifter. Bit pricey compared to the rest but but no complaints here. You get what you pay for. Massively increased shifting feel and response. However it sometimes requires a bit of brutality to get into gear, but im positive that has more to do with my old gearbox fluid.

I have seen an aluminium shifter snap on my mates e30 bmw. Wasn't very fun at all

i had a C shifter. snapped on me. now i got a buddyclub dual bend. very happy with it

not too sure why. :S because there was a point wen they had problem with their products. maybe it was purchase during that time. because i got it with the car
