    stock airbox

    will a stock airbox with a k&n panel filter have as such a good noise as say a short ram intake?? i was thinking of changing mine back to stock but dont wanna lose the intake noise..

    i have my intake resonator out so wasnt sure..

    it does make the same sound with out the resonator out, but it wont be as loud as an aluminium intake arm or cai

    im jus thinking of heatsoak this summer lol.
    might do diy cold air.

    i went back to using my standard airbox with K&N panel filter, but made piping from the front bumper up to the underside of the airbox. it works great, still makes abit of noise and best part is no one knows that under the airbix its not stock

    DIY CAI piping and DIY the pod inside the airbox yay!

    or you could DIY your own bx for your POD? i have...

    i have a K&N in my stock airbox...sounds just like when it had the original stock filter
    I used to have a EK sedan

    ^ .. So you still have the resonator right? Thats probably why it sounds the same.

    EG airbox is tricky coz it's oval.. i used a coupler and some piping

    it still feels and sounds like shit... this was better with a panel but ended up cutting oput the entire bottom (on a spare box) making it similar to an ARC airbox:
