Guys in the UK also experience it with JDM headers.

Some reckon its the heat shield expanding and reacting to the water splashing on it.
interesting post
ive installed jdm headers in the last 3 months and since then i havent had the problem
spent the entire day at oran park yesterday driving thru puddles and alot of rain and the problem did not occur once
it may even have been the o2 sensor....even tho it didnt throw a code it was extended wen i installed the headers

common problem with no real solution
honda have refused to touch any modified cars...so if u have a dead stock dc5 and it does it, take it to them and tell them to diagnose the problem, however they will ask u to replicate it in the rain and it gets awfully embarrasing wen u cant plus they will charge u for a scan and it never threw a code for me
