Exclamation is my injen CAI taking in water?? or is my exhaust?

This never had happen before but i have recent installed a new exhaust system (Greddy evo 2 catback) and everything was fine until i drive my car (dc5s) in the rain and going over a small puddle of water.. the engine or the car starts to vibrate and acceleration seems to slowly response(lose power) and engine will make a funny noise and this will stop a few meters away and everything returns to normal.. then it'll start to happen again if i drive over another small puddle.. is my Injen CAI taking in water or is it my new exhaust system?? becuz this problem never happen to me before with just the CAI..

hmmm, it sounds worrying cause i've got a mate who got his engine halted as his CAI sucked in water when there was a flood. It'll be good to have a check dude

Its your exhaust dude this has been covered majorly in all different honda forums. Same thing happened to me when i installed my Buddyclub PRO spec III. It seems to be the exhaust expanding and contracting when wet causing it to vibrate. Its not the CAI.
Brand new TODA 4-2-1 race header for DC5 for sale...pm if interested.

its 100% not the cold air intake
adrian (toda) drove my car thru massive puddles trying to get this problem and could not replicate it

u basically have to have the entire cai submerged in water whilst on the throttle to cause damage

the problem still happens without a cai i tested it numerous times...

please refer to the long thread
