cutting springs + lowering springs equals to blown shocks(damaged and worn out) if you don't replace.
stock shocks are fixed to a certain height and running the car lower results in increase wear of the shocks, hence you need shocks to fit the height your lower to.
Cutting springs is a typical cheap method, i recommend not to.

ok so i got 18s, what would be the cheapest shocks i could pick up?
even if its just for the font shocks, beacsue i have a massive sub in the boot wich is lowering the car at the back already
If your goner change your shocks, change all four.. otherwise dont do it at all.. NO point changing 2 shocks, and having to change the other 2 later down the track anyway..
If you want something relatively cheap and good for handling than i'd so go for some koni shocks, otherwise shop around abit...make sure when you shop around for shocks to mention its for a lowerd car
