    engine enamel on manifold

just wondering if spraying a greddy turbo manifold with engine enamel would be bad. i hate it how it goes rusty/brown/poo after like 2 weeks. so yeah, just concerned about heat issues if i sprayed it with engine enamel.

    It'll burn.
If you want it black or silver use a ceramic coating like HPC etc

no engine enamel will work, i sprayed my turbo header with it also.
The other option is caliper paint which can also take very high temps

lol i went to a crappy HS where the teacher had to do all the experiments cos we didn't have enough facilities. It was sad, he broke more equipment than all of us combined

    lmao, hahaha

our physics teacher would go nuts, eyes popping out of his head, going red and he was scrawney too so funny,

nothing beats our chem teacher, had a hot air balloon experiment where tissue paper balloons were made, whilst heating the air with metho in a cup to simulate the firing in a real balloon, it rose to head height and just some how blew up in a fire ball, singe his eyebrows off, all red in the face, everyone even him, were pissing themselves laughing hahaha.

    back OT!

Whether or not these 'paints' will last all depends on under-hood ventilation/temps.... But most will burn off.. if not in days, in weeks or months.
