Mooshie, yankeeland? I'm not interested in the 1 piece style. For some reason I like 3 piece better. Also I am just trying to get get it up and going right now. This is my first car. And I thought this forum was about lips. I wanted to get one because I thought the bumper looked boring and I found that one. I didn't think the lights were such a big deal...

Well I'm sorry if you don't want me to be on here. Do you assume that everyone in America is a yankee hick? Kind of racist... I just looked up da9 lips and found this forum and wanted to contribute. I actually didn't even know this was an Aussie site so If I am unwelcome here then sorry for the international intrusion.

Mate, dont stress too much, Im sure he didnt mean it in a derogatory way when he said yankeeland.
I lurk honda-tech even more than this site so dont worry about international boundaries.

its always great to see contributions to the thread.
good to see some people favoring the 3-piece as opposed to the single. we didnt get the 3-piece, so they seem a bit exotic to us.

haha alright thanks, I apologize for any misscommunication then mooshie. The term yankee is never really used in north America. So I didn't know what he meant.

I'm kind of a newbie with hondas but I got a da9 and I wanted a lip so I was looking them up. I had seen this thread and about a week later I was getting parts for mine and found that oem lip and since he said it was the most rare I thought it might be of interest to you guys. The best part is that I got it for $27! And about the lights, that's weird! Barely anyone around here has 1 piece lights unless they bought them online or something. They're just stock ones, some of the pieces are new, and some I got off scrap cars. I got both the bumper lights new thankfully though. I can't wait til it's finished!

in Aust we only have the one pieces, I have never seen a 3 piece headlight here before.
But being apart of g2ic.com everyone in the states seem to want them =)

I know, it does have a little crack underneath but can be easily fixed. So I'm confused, even stock they come with a 1 piece? Well I will put a picture when the front is finished so you can see what the 3 piece looks like. I guess everyone here wants them because the 1 piece to us is like the 3 to you.

LoL i think the US was the only place to recieve the 3 piece due to the road safety regulations. im pretty sure everywhere else recieved the 1 piece... which in my opinion are lot sleeker looking.

Yep i believe so, we get one pieces =D, i know what the 3 pieces look like and im not really a fan prefer my one, as WKDTEG said, it makes it look sleeker!

Well guess what I saw today after I got off the city bus!? A da9 with one piece lights! haha Yeah they look good, and clean. I don't know, I don't think I have a preference now! They all look good!
Road safety regulations? I'll have to look into that. But then if you got after market 1 piece lights, wouldn't you be breaking regulations? Not that it matters to you guys... lol
Okay, well when anything interesting happens with mine, I'll get pics. I can't wait to see how it looks with the lip on there! (I forgot that's what we are SUPPOSED to be talking about...)
