i put in an fm expander in my ep3 as it already came with an alpine unit from Japan. connect it in line into the aerial cable to the HU and just splice it into a power source. call a few local audio shops, i managed to get mine for free as the guy said he had heaps lying around.

yeah mines a jap deck, came with the car. my importer put in one of those fm converters and works fine. only thing is instead of say 104.1 it shows 20 under so 84.1 (something to do with jap only have 70 to 90 band)

Im just curious on how many Km's your cars have? Cause i am looking at one on the auctions which has 87,000kms and will probably go really cheap and it looks like it has a nice exhaust system. or should i pay a few 100,000 more yen and get one with say 40,000kms?

    thanks

Its the same question everyone asks when they want to buy a car?

If you buy cheaper car....you'll have more money for mods. But if you buy a lower k car it'd probably have better resale. But end of the day, a 01/02 car is a 01/02 car. Will always go for similar price.

Just buy one in good cond I say!
