    Where to put the HID Ballast on EK1?

    I am thinking to get HID and gonna install myself ... but I am wondering where I can put the ballast ?

    you can put it anywhere,


    but normally people would put it behind the bumper to hide it.

    When I had an EK I mounted mine on the back side of peice #4 in the illustration below.

    I have mine mount on the bar on the opposite side of foam, yeah basically #4 on each side

    agree with all above.

    FYI.. police check for these. Most factory HIDs are setup similarly but have an ADR approval sticker of sorts regardless hidden/visible

    Might I add, plug and play for the loss (FTL)! Retro fit is the only way to do HID right!
