I recently purchased a set of pedals from strutking. Something the type-s missed out on were the nice pedals that the type-r came with.

These pedals from strutking are very similar to the ones on the type-r. They come with everything you need; accelerator, break, clutch and the dead foot rest. If you buy the oem set it can cost up to $300+, not worth it in my opinion.

After I placed my order I received the pedals in the mail within 2 weeks. It came with 2 drill bits (1 for drilling plastic and the other for metal) and all the necessary bolts. The site also has an easy DIY you can follow.

I must say the installation is a lot harder than first anticipated. You have to be very careful with drilling the holes on the stock pedals, otherwise it can end up being crooked. After a few hours the effort was defiantly well worth it. They turned out great. After comparing them to the oem type-r pedals I could hardly tell the difference. The finish on these pedals is much nicer in my opinion, the type-r has more of a mat finish to it. Another thing that really impressed me was the fitment. These simply sat on top of the stock pedals and don’t alter the height of the pedals much at all. The rubber parts offer far more grip then the old rubber of the stock pedals.

I would highly recommend these to any type-s owner who is seeking for that final touch that is missing on their car. For the price I paid I am defiantly happy with them. Here are a few pictures I took….

It just goes over the top of the existing original one, then there’s about 6 screws to hold it in place?

i installed the same thing too.

footrest is easy except the top left screw (lack of space).

drilling metal wasn't as easy as it first looked but in the end it's worth the effort.

overall i'd say 8.5/10.

looks good, mite give it a go on the eg, look like pedals are the same (rubber over metal) wonder if they fit the jazz? jazz dont come with a footrest which is gay. anyone know?

u can just buy the pedals without footrest. should fit jazz i think.

I have these for my euro. Great product and 1/3rd of the price of OEM euro r pedals.

I didn't drill at all, the screws they give you are self-tapping, so i just used a drill with a phillips head bit and screwed them straight into the accelerator pedal and the footrest.
