    Silvia S14 --> DC2R ??

    Hello Guys,

    My questions would be, if i'm interested in getting rid of my perfectly mechanically sound S14 series 2 for a Integra Type R (DC2R), what are my chances to get a direct swap (money wised)

    I know, i know! Alot of you may tell me that i should stay on with the Silvia as it's definitely more power and etc. However to me, i don't really think i need all these power and a Type R will be the best for me!

    However, i do not want to spend extra on moving on to Type R. Therefore, is this possible! Or better still, is any Type R owner interested in a swap??

    *bennjamin edit* This is not a swap meet - become a member later on and you can swap , sell or whatever

    S14a might have more power, but on the track, it would still be slower.... Unless you are leaving out about $3500 of suspension modifications in your list....

    I think you'd get about $22,000 for the S14a, and DC2Rs go from $22-30K

    i say keep your s14a. they are nice cars. sr20 are pretty strong motors too, and there is alot of fun to be had with them and with the rwd configuration
    but for cash wise, dc2r are newer cars (audm) and therefore cost a bit more then a 1997 200sx. my guess would be a couple of grand on the balance from the s14 to a dc2r. good luck

    s14a are nice cars.. But the dc2r is a better driving car. Its not always about the KW IMO. RWD is fun... if you like to do fishes, drift around corner..etc. but are we going to be doing that on public roads???? .. stick to the R i reckon.
    lovesil: Get a R and ya cant go wrong IMO.

    he wants the hear the vtec go "bbbbaaaaahhhhhh" ... s14 is a great car...but the type R is more balanced overall..puts out great power for a N/A about the same as a s14...if u sell or swap there will be a cash adjustment
