    possible fn2 facelift

    new press release

    http://www.motorauthority.com/honda-...-for-2009.html

Crowning the range is the Civic Type R, which for 2009 receives a limited slip differential. Initial testing at Japan’s Tsukaba circuit has shown a 1.44 second improvement in lap times compared with the previous model.

The updated Type R models are distinguished by their ‘Championship White’ paint finish, 18in alloy wheels, and black chrome used on badges, door handles, fuel lid and front grille. (quoted from site)

    thank christ for that.

give Type R rights to the UK, and look what the fkn do. rip out the lsd, change rear suspension, remove champion white paint option. and add a whole bunch of other heavy shit.

the japs have finally intervened. they probably thinking, WTF did you poms do to the type R???

wait til mugen starts making some goodies like CF for it ooooo

    I think you're right.
There may be a facelifted FN2 with the inclusion of the lsd to follow later on.
I very much doubt that we will get the face lifted version in Australia.
The next Type R,IF we get it( which I also doubt),will probably be the 9th generation Civic.
