$38500 for a 2000 model S2000 is a joke mate, which is what a few of them are advertised at.

Redbook values 2000 S2000s for somewhere in the high 20's to low 30's.

$38,500 was market value for a 2000 model S2000 2 and a half years ago. I should know, thats what I paid for mine. LOL.

    One already did.

Silverstone, 180,000kms, 99 model, $20K on carsales a month back.

Up here a dealer I know took a trade in for $17K.

I think value for money wise, they will hold steady for the next year or 2. The higher over priced ones will drop from mid to high 30's to mid to high 20's and lowe 30's.

Yeah, I know that. But you try and explain that to a seller.. lol.. The cars white, but I just cannot justify that much on a car thats getting its age on!

all this talk in value guys. at the end of the day, a car will sell depending what people are willing to pay for it, and how desperate the seller and the situation he/she is in to get rid of the car.

considering its age, and the "coolness" factor, as more people will try and get their hands on one, maybe the younger generation, the same will go for people trying to get rid of them, the younger generation again maybe.
