    ok most of us are quite aware that having a thicker rear swaybar reduces body roll and corrects understeer

    but what does the front sway bar do?

    and putting both on (front and rear the same size) bring you back to where u started?

    given this is all on oem suspensions

    Putting both on will not bring you back to where you started because you end up with a stiffer ride. It's like adding more frames to hold up a house or something. If you had none, then your car will roll heaps. If you have one then that's good, but having both is even better.
