    Smile TYPE-R rims on VTI Question - Help

    Hi Guys,

    Yes did a search looked through threads for 20 min but just really wanting an answer to a question I have, would the FN2 Type r rims fit on an FD VTI ?

    FN2R 18" wheels are +55
    don't know about your Civic Vti

    You'll need spacers for them as civic fd offset are +45.

    looks like you'll need 15mm spacers...
    if you read a little more in the forums its not recommended to use spacers...
    well you can but just not healthy for your car in the long run~

    i was actually thinking of FD2R wheels with 20mm spacers had a huge dilemma whether
    to do it or not but at the end just ended up with wheels that actually fit offset wise

    you should search for some aftermaths of accidents caused by spacers

    there's no need for spacers.
    i've run the jdm itr wheels on my dc5 +60 on +45 at the track and it was fine.

    Done a little more research I think they will fit like a glove. There is no way I’ll need a 15mm spacer.
    Will let you all know when done.

    the offset is +55 but you're gaining extra from the width of the rim.
    so you should be fine and they will look great on the FD
