    INTEGRA vs CRX

I am currently tossing up between a 91 CRX and a 91 TEG. Which one would you say is a better car. I dont know much about the 1.8 motor in the TEG. Which one is better performance wise. Quarter times etc.. thanks

i would go with the crx, but the 91 teg does look good. perfromance wise i think the stock teg would dominate the d16a8 in the crx

maybe you should ask Stabo, since he owned an Integra before, and now owns a crx

get a crx if u want a sporty ride, 2 seats, low, light and fast. but if your the kinda guy that drives ppl around and always have more then one passengers get a teg.

I would go the CRX. Although its a turtle and im a integ driver, it looks good and can be made to look even better. Do an engine swap. B16 or B18. Make the baby fly.

the power to weight ratio is actually better on the CRX, so a stock CRX would actually be faster than a Teg, been there... raced it.

what do u mean its a turtle? compared to your ride - its substantially slower - YES - but in general a CRX is Not a Turtle man... thats a pretty Bold statement!

    turtle???? WTF?

crx's rock. if its the non-vtec 1.8 then you'll find they're pretty similar power wise. the d16a8's go hard. dont let anyone tell you otherways! trust me!!!

Guys don't take the turtle statement to heart. Its nothing about you or the speed of your car but rather what Z3lda said. He once had a gen 2 that looks like a turtle, ever since then i refer to all gen2 as turtles.

Hmm well in my experience the B18A in the LS integra is much meatier than the ZC in the CRX.. and i'd have to disagree about the handling, sure the CRX has exceptionally good handling right out of the box, but the integra is also very good.

Neither motors (Stock) have much top-end, but the B18 definately has more potential. is erfect for a LPT (turbo) setup stock, or you can whack a B16 Head on the B18B and have the original 'Frankenstein' motor (180 HP+)

Personally I found the CRX a little cramped, and the LS was just right though I think the LS actually had LESS headroom than the CRX (if you're tall).

Plus there's waaaaay less tastefully modded LS integras out there on the streets

Also I have a dream of a H22A swap into an LS integra - i think that combination would be exceptional !!

H22A in civic or CRX is always a squeeze but the LS has more room and a longer nose (plus slightly longer wheelbase) therefore suited to the weight and power characteristics of the Prelude motor.

dude i think you'll be happy with whichever car you end up buying i have an LS and yeah they are nice cars, they go quite well stock and like any b series engine, theres immense aftermarket support if you want to modify it. only thing i can think of that would make me buy an LS over a gen 2 crx, is probably its ability to hold more than 2 ppl. having a car full of ppl is fun other than that, they're both good!

heres a quick vid of my '89 LS to give you a rough idea of how they go, totally stock
