    Im in total agreement with ATSE
    Sound deadening will make the system all that much better, however initially is not nescessary, can be put in later, if it doesnt sound how you like.

    That being said personally i like my back speakers in good when watching movies ( later when you get a screen) for surround sound.

    Arverson has a very good point as well, with the budget you are on, you will need to either build up in stages, or find some really good mates in the car industry to get your gear cheap, and help you do the install if your not confident to do it your self





    personally i would build up gradually.

    i had rockford splits in my old car not as clear as i wanted it to be. Now in my ep3 i have boston accoustics HEAPS better. But in the end, the better the amp the better the sound as well
    I like my cars like my women.....quiet at first....but SCREAMING when you open her up!!!

    Plenty of crap on the market, and plenty of quality gear as well. Get off your bum and go auditioning. It's free and can save you $$$$.

    Most of the time the simplest way works best.

    they r both shit. for speakers the best to get is kicker & JL audio. subs get an alpine type r & all powered by JL audio amps
