i think its illegal only if the hood is fully carbon fibre...most of these "carbon fibre" hoods are only carbon fibre layered fibre glass....which is legal.even NRMA approves it
i think the CF hoods are legal because its just the same hood but carbon over the top or made in plastic and CF over it.
If your looking at a fully CF hood it'll cost you like 5k? it will weight as light as a feather and not legal because its not structural. if you hit someone/thing it won't be the same as having the original hood on which is made to withstand some forces

correct me if i'm wrong
u r rite...this is wad i confirmed with RTA ... fibre glass hood and plastic hoods are legal...even if they have carbon layer over it...as long as its not full cf..since if u hit something...it'll just shatter and might hit a pedestrian.

might hit a pedestrian haha its like the rule you cant have massive spoilers cause if you hit a pedestrian and they go over your car it can slice them in half...
nice rims yo...needs a drop and too much rubber in my liking.
Didnt have a choice, the rolling diameter of the tyres meant they had to be that big, I just havent decided what I'm going to do with it as far as lowering etc after this. Still looks miles better than the stock 15 inch wheels it had
trsc27, the rims suit your cars colour really well. Don'y mind the amount of rubber with black rims... if they were silver it'd look weird... but with black it suits.
