an intercooler has no purpose when there is no forced induction

you could buy it, but there would be no point fitting it to the car

a little bit of physics for you.

when air is compressed, it heats up. the particles get closer together, there is more friction between them, and they heat up. this happens for turbos, superchargers, aircompressers, anything that compresses air.

thats where intercoolers come into play. the air is fed thru the front mount, or thru a water to air cooler, and its cooled down.

now, once again with physics, this cooling of the air will expand it a little. not back to normal pressures, but jsut a little. if you measured boost before and after teh intercooler, you would see a difference. a ver slight reduction by a few points of a psi

thats the point of an intercooler

on an N/A car, it has no advantage. in actual fact, it can make it worse, as the intake has a longer path

whichever one you can afford... LoL... preferably turbo... but again, beggars can't be choosers...

and it is pointless getting an intercooler and not having a turbo... defeats the purpose of having the damn thing...

Save up your money and get both the turbo and the intercooler at the same time.
