Get your facts straight buddy. Jazz is made in

Japan.



Only the Civic sedan (GLi) is made in Thailand. The hatch (Vi) is from Japan.

MDX is from Canada
The only one you are 100% correct on is the Accord. (not the Euro)



The rest are made in Japan.

Jazz/Fit in made in Japan, Brazil, China and Thailand
Honda Automotive Thailand Co. Ltd (HATC) produces City, CRV, Accord (US Spec), Civic (GLi and hybrid) and Jazz.



Anyway don't want to make any commotion about this as I can’t confirm which models are actually exported into Australia, but Honda Thailand also exports to Japan (I don't know which model). The below are some details I read in Automotive Trade Magazine. The Australia Model manufacture plates also doesn't specify where the cars are made from. Anyway, The magazine doesn't say in details what is exported to Australia but it would be stupid for not taking the FTA agreement available in a demanding market such as Aus.



Also I think u or we should becareful with "The rest are made in Japan"

In May 2003, HATC's production capacity was nearly doubled from the original 70,000 units to 120,000 units per year in order to meet increasing demand from domestic and overseas markets. HATC currently exports products to ASEAN countries, Japan, Oceania, the Middle East and Africa. Exports of Jazz to ASEAN countries will be considered if demand reaches adequate levels.” 2003 News



from what I know, Honda Jazz/Fit body structure is on a new global platform, is currently using a new 3 dimensional platform which has been said is one of the strongest and rigid body Honda has design. Even the guy from Spoon says the body structure is amazing.
